Welcome to Alpine Food Storage

Where we order quality bulk foods at wholesale prices.

Here is some basic information about how our group works!

1. The best way to know what we are currently ordering is to get on the email list, or to check this site out frequently.

2. If you are interested in placing an order, the best thing to do is to email me either a completed order form, or simply state in an email what it is you'd like to order. Then you may put a check in the mail to me. I have to pay when I place an order, and our orders tend to be so large that there is no way that I can cover them personally. Therefore payment must accompany all orders.

Do not fill out the order form online and assume it will get to me. Order forms are there for you to download and print out!

3. It is also very helpful if in the memo line of your check you'd note what it is you've ordered. Especially when we are doing several different orders at a time.

4. It is important to note as you compare our prices to others that our prices reflect all taxes and shipping/handling charges! (Shipping charges cover shipping to my home in Highland, Utah) The price you see is the price you pay!

5. When the product comes in, I will send you an email that it has arrived. It is then appreciated if you can come within 2-3 days to pick up your order. We warehouse these items in our garage and our cars like to sleep in there as often as they can!

6. I'm happy to answer any and all questions you may have either via email or over the phone. Please note however, that I home school my children, and that is my top priority! :-) We tend to hit the books hard from early in the morning to about 1-2 pm. If you could call after that time it would be very much appreciated. If there is an emergency, I do answer my phone before those hours!

I look forward to helping you meet your Food Storage needs!

I am wondering how this oil can be stored for such a long time when most oils go rancid quickly.

Good question!
Because these oils are stored in tins where no oxygen or sunlight can get to them to break them down, they last for a long, long time. 10-15 years or more.
Most Europeans store their oils in tin cans like these because of the long term storage advantage.
