The other day, one of my good friends called me and requested that I find out where the Temple was getting their hand sanitizer because it was so much better than anything else she had ever tried. The more we found out about it, the more excited we became. Here are some of the facts:
The active ingredient is Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC)—NOT ALCOHOL!
The benefits are many, but the greatest benefit is that this sanitizer has a residual activity that will continue to kill germs for up to 4 hours! (Gelled alcohol lasts 10–15 seconds.) This is especially important for times when either you are in public or the kids are in school. You can shake hands, touch dirty grocery carts, etc., and the sanitizer keeps on killing germs! Go ahead—touch your face!
It comes in a foam so you use much less than alcohol-based cleansers—yielding 750–800 applications per 16-oz pump! Also, the foam spreads much farther and more evenly—even getting up under your fingernails!—and is therefore much more effective. (Tip: ½ compression of the pump is sufficient for one full hand-cleansing!)
It can be used for wound-cleansing and won't sting like alcohol. It doesn't dry out your hands like alcohol, either.
Here are some other facts as per the manufacturer: |
OK, I wasn't going to make this one available when I saw it, as it's not really up our alley. But then I TRIED it! It is exactly what was described to me: A "warm fuzzy" soap!
It is a foaming soap that coats your hands like a lotion. It feel absolutely luxurious.
You may think, "Yeah, it will never wash off!"; but it rinses beautifully and leaves your hands smelling so peachy—like a fresh spring day! I love it!
Remember, a foaming soap gives you 2–3 times more hand-washings per bottle than does regular liquid soap.
