Available right now is high-quality Greek Olive Oil in 1-gallon tins.
These will store from 10–15 years in cool storage! How? Light and air are the enemies of oils—they break them down and make them rancid. In these tins, there is no light or air. Therefore, this oil will store much longer than it will in grocery store bottles!
Three grades are available: Extra Virgin, Pure and Pomace.
Extra Virgin is the first or COLD PRESS.
Pure is the second or WARM WATER PRESS.
Pomace is the last press. Hexane is introduced to draw out the very last of the oil and is then neutralized. This oil is recommended for COOKING ONLY (as heat will kill the rest of the hexane).
